Russia’s PhosAgro to export $1 bln fertilizers to India
NEW DELHI, Oct 5 (PRIME) -- The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), fertilizer producer PhosAgro, and Indian state company Indian Potash Ltd have signed a U.S. $1 billion agreement, under which PhosAgro will export fertilizers to India, the RDIF said in a statement on Friday.
The long-term agreement encompasses exports of 2 million tonnes of fertilizers in 2019–2021.
“In the framework of the agreement, the firms will also consider joint implementation of promising investment projects in production of mineral fertilizers, including construction of production capacities and corresponding infrastructure, as well as implementation of cutting-edge technologies, in Russia and India,” the statement read.
